Diversity Festival 2011
I bow to you Texadian's that live off the land on this very pristine wilderness island from heaven. For about 9 years running now there has been a ever growing community of people that put together this intimate festival that celebrates all things diverse... this includes wearing a pink onesie..or just nothing at all (...and on stilts). The music ranges from father son duos to everything electronic, live reggae bands, and spoken word... there are workshops and discussion groups for everything from yoga to the theory of relativity. The best way to travel is of course by boat arriving in gillies bay to a fanfare of eclectic neo-hippie ludite lovers ! More special are the people who trek out three ferries from the mainland to witness the energy here. Being my first trip out I have to thank those who made it possible ie; Peter Booth, Marty, Jai/Jeff and all those pretty souls I met along the way and throughout the weekend. Thank you Nicole for my bass epiphone to Daega Sound aaaand alll the pretty clothiers!!! I have linked most of your sites on here but let me know if i missed any, love and salutations, until we meet again! Props to Daega sound, Max Ulis, Ben Ulis, The Funk Hunters, Ronin, West Wes, Om Booty, Mahadevi and my Cous-cous. Please contact me for further promotional use of these photos and/or future photo shoot inquiries, namaste <3
